Easy Walnut Flapjacks
Super easy flapjacks made with walnuts, sunflower seeds and dried fruit.
- 90 g salted butter
- 90 g golden syrup
- 90 g light muscovado sugar
- 150 g oats
- 50 g sunflower seeds
- 150 g dried mixed fruit
- 75 g walnuts chopped
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20cm square baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Put the butter, golden syrup and sugar into a medium pan over a medium-low heat. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
Remove from the heat and stir in all the remaining ingredients.
Press the mixture into the tin. Cook for 20 mins until golden brown. Score the flapjack into 9 squares while still hot.
Cool slightly in the tin then turn the flapjack out onto a chopping board. Cut into squares and leave to cool.
